My name is Yonatan Slobodskoy. I am a 2nd year undergradiate student at Bournemouth university, working towards my the Software Engineering degree. I have started coding from a very little age, and since then have gained experience with Web Development. I have also studied Python during A-Level and explored many classes, whilst maintaing excellent performance and standards.
Additionally, I have learnt developing Android apps and have had several projects to develop. As 2020 arrived, I have started developing for iOS as well, hoping to develop a cross-device service to be used by 100+ users. I am very enthusiastic about creating my own platforms/services. I own several Raspberry Pi to support testing and experimenting new frameworks and applications.
It is my passion to help other people to understand coding better and this manifests itself by a Student Rep role I have taken within the Students Union of my university. I love helping people with programming and I am always looking for a job to make things matter and change the way people use a service whilst meeting user requirements. I create responsive websites that allow the user to experience your website in the best and most appropriate way suited to the device they are using. Cross browser compatibility is ensured by using feature detection so older browsers still in use today provide a solid experience.
Writing semantic markup that is documented and easy to read means it can be maintained and scaled in the future, and allows co-workers to quickly work with it. I can quickly and efficiently join your team using continuous-integration with methods and tools such as Git, Agile, Scrum, and test/behaviour driven development.
I'm an analytical and results-driven, who will work to troubleshoot and improve current back-end applications and processes. I take part in the entire application lifecycle, perform UI tests to optimize performance and collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Following emerging technologies aids me identifing new features and ideas for programs, products, or monitoring industry developments and trends. Participating in continuing education and training keeps me up-to-date with all the latest practices, allows me assisting other colleagues in a better way.
I started with creating Python applications in year 10, continuing to learn new programming lnaguages by myself such as Java, C# and Kotlin. While studying at university I started using more developed IDEs such as Visual Studio, Android Studio and Xcode.
This allowed me creating cross-device services and compatability with different platforms, which widened my vision for future project. I am eager to further my skills and knowledge in this subject, thus I keep researching new technologies and tools that can help me and my clients.
